It's spring vacation here and our children are at their grandparents for a few days. So, I am taking it easy as well and have time to do things like scrapbooking, LOL. So, bear with me - here is another one. Benjamin had so much fun the other day building, tearing down, then rebuilding his Duplo (larger Lego) train set!

Yesterday was such a wonderful day. It was warm and sunny. Before we went to church in the afternoon, we took a few pictures outside. I think this is the best of them! It's almost impossible to get these children to not make funny faces! I am so blessed by my children and treasure them so much!

Granpa has a dog that our children love to play with. He is very friendly and let them bother him =). I couldnt' resist to make a layout with some of our children playing with him:

I have long planned to make a new category on my blog dedicated to my creative children. They are all very talented in various ways and their most favorite thing is to draw (sometimes I think I need a paper factory). But they also like to create other art pieces, each on their own level. So, I have decided to occasionally post some of them on my blog (a proud mother has to show off, right?) So, today I show you the drawings my 14 and 11y. old did for a recent art competition in school. The theme was "Nature in Fairy Tales". It actually got sent out of the country to Slovakia. We'll see if they win anything. But just being picked from their teachers to represent their school in this is a big honor.

I had somehow missed the sign-up for this years Wardrobe Refashion Blog, so I had removed the button. But now I am signed up again and will try even better to refashion, reuse, recycle clothing and fabric already in our home to create clothing for myself and my family. So, once again, here is my official pledge and the button has once again reappeared in my side link :-): I Natalija pledge that I shall abstain from the purchase of "new" manufactured items of clothing, for the period of 4 months. I pledge that i shall refashion, renovate, recycle preloved items for myself with my own hands in fabric, yarn or other medium for the term of my contract. I pledge that I will share the love and post a photo of my refashioned, renovated, recycled, crafted or created item of clothing on the Wardrobe Refashion blog, so that others may share the joy that thy thriftyness brings!
Visit Wardrobe Refashion for lots of creative ideas.
